In the modern world high stress has become a daily part of our lives and an important factor in our health. After all everyone is unique and handles stresses in a different manner but this can also mean different effects on our health. Typically we tend to focus on treating the results of stress induced health problems instead of addressing how we cope with the stresses themselves. For example - being stuck in traffic is not something we can always change - but we can change our mindset and thus how it affects us.
To this end the Rani Holistic Health Centers have created a stress-management program to not only deal with the physical reactions to stress but also the perspective with which we approach stress. The cornerstone of this program is Lifestyle Modification. In other words what are the proactive changes we can make to reduce the reactive effects of stress on our mental and physical wellness.
Topics covered in the program include observing & understanding the importance of changes in daily and seasonal routines. How to incorporate yoga and meditation into a comprehensive stress-reduction plan. Understanding body types and using a personalized diet and exercise regime that fits your body type. Using Panchkarma therapy as a detoxification modality.
The program is not offered weekly but can be arranged for groups with a minimum of six participants and a maximum of 10 participants. It is divided into two weekends with 3 hours completed in each weekend. We strongly recommend the program to small businesses or organizations as not only a method to ensure employee health and well-being but also to foster a sense of community.
